Pablo Vallejo
Pablo Vallejo of BBVA Ireland

Pablo Vallejo was born in Canterbury, England in April 1964, his parents, both Spanish, having moved to England from Spain a few years earlier. Raised and educated in England, Pablo graduated from Wolverhampton Polytechnic with a BA Honours Degree in Modern Languages, French & Spanish.

Pablo joined the London branch of Spanish Bank Banco Exterior in 1987, and remained with them throughout the Group’s transition from a wholly owned state entity to privatised banking group Argentaria..

Following the merger between Argentaria and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya, Pablo moved to Dublin in the year 2000, with his wife Nora and children Oscar and James, and was appointed Managing Director of BBVA Ireland in 2002.

Pablo joined the ISEA Council in 2002 and was President of the Association from 2004 to 2006.
